October 4, 2016

On September 29, 2016, the winners of the "Re Design Project 2016" sponsored by Uny Co., Ltd. were announced at the Leaf Walk Inazawa Store (Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture). Our president, Kazuo Taki attended as one of the presentators. This project involves students from design schools who design creations from unused materials donated by businesses. The award-winning creations are produced at facilities for the handicapped and sold at limited Uny stores.

President Taki chose 2 creations at the selection commission for the "Takihyo Award" and "President Taki Award", stating that he was impressed with the many creations using cute animal motifs. In addition, thinking that it would be useful for the future of the students, he presented a tour of the company's Ichinomiya factory (spinning company) as an extra prize.

The award-winning creations are scheduled to be sold at limited Uny stores from mid-November.
